Harrisburg Magazine Inc. Sold to Benchmark Media LLCBack to News

Harrisburg, PA – April 24, 2017 – Davy Goldsmith announced today that he has sold Harrisburg Magazine, Lehigh Valley Magazine and other companion publications to Benchmark Media. The transaction closed today. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Dirks, Van Essen & Murray, a media merger and acquisition firm based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, represented Davy Goldsmith in the transaction.

Goldsmith has owned the company for the past 20 years. He said, “Harrisburg Magazine has grown to be a quality publication and an asset to our community. I’m thankful to our editorial staff, led by Jadrian Klinger, for their talents and dedication. Chad Overdaugh has led the sales team with similar talent and dedication. I was blessed to work alongside so many good people.”

A representative of Benchmark Media said they were eager to take over the company and continue to publish and produce such well-regarded publications and events. They anticipate no immediate changes in the operation.
